With Nenad Krstic and Jason Collins both in foul trouble, and Brian Scalabrine still out, the Nets were beaten up down low by Jermaine O'Neal and the Pacers. O'Neal finished with 31 points and Jeff Foster added 16 along with 16 rebounds, as Indiana took advantage of a small Nets lineup that had Jason Kidd, Rodney Buford, Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson all on the floor together. Carter led the Nets with 25 points and Buford added 20, shooting 4 for 5 from 3 point range. Jefferson also added 20, but shot just 4 of 15 from the floor.
