With Elton Brand, the Sixers looked beatable. Without him, they went on a roll. The Sixers are 2-1 with Brand back and 23-22 for the season. Two players who stepped up during Brand's absence, Thaddeus Young (15.3 points in the past 10 games) and Marreese Speights (10.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in the nine games before Brand returned), are key parts of the rotation. And oh yeah, they have Andre Igoudala, too.
