June Survey: The application rate for any kind of credit over the past twelve months slipped to 41.2 percent. The overall rejection rate for credit applicants rose to 21.4 percent, while the rejection rate for mortgages decreased.

SURVEY OF CONSUMER EXPECTATIONS
June Survey: Inflation expectations declined at the short- and longer-term horizons to 3.0 percent and 2.8 percent, respectively, and increased slightly to 2.9 percent at the medium term. Median home price growth expectations decreased to 3.0 percent.

Quarterly Report on Household Debt and Credit
Total household debt rose by $184 billion to reach $17.69 trillion, with mortgage balances increasing by $190 billion. Credit card debt fell, as is typical in the first quarter, but transitions into delinquency rose again for credit cards and auto loans.
