The Philadelphia Flyers announced today they have signed goaltender Ivan Fedotov, the club's seventh-round pick (188th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, to a one-year entry-level contract, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager, Chuck Fletcher.

"Ivan is a player we have followed closely and are very pleased with his development," said Fletcher. "He's put a number of strong seasons together in the KHL culminating this year when he captured an Olympic Silver Medal and a KHL Championship."

* Fedotov spent 2021-22 in the KHL with CSKA Moscow where he led the team to the League Championship, the Gagarin Cup, by posting a 16-6 record with a 1.85 goals-against average and .937 save percentage.

* During the regular season, he appeared in 26 games with a 14-10-2 record and a 2.00 GAA and .919 save percentage.

* He was recently named one of three finalists for the KHL's Best Goalie Award.

* Internationally, he appeared in the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing for Russia, where he won a silver medal as the starting goaltender. He posted a 4-2 record with a 1.61 GAA and .942 save percentage to go along with two shutouts in the six games.

* Overall, he has spent parts of seven seasons in the KHL since first making an appearance in 2013-14. He has 40-33-7 record with a 2.15 GAA and .925 save percentage in 89 regular season games.

* In the KHL playoffs, he has an overall mark of 17-9 with a 1.96 GAA and .933 save percentage in 26 postseason games.

* Fedotov was one of three goaltenders and the last player taken by the Flyers in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
