Gloucester Twp. to have Erial and Glendora Little League parades

GLOUCESTER TWP. --  Erial and Glendora Little Leagues will have their annual

opening day parades on Saturday.

The Erial parade will kick off at 8 a.m. at Point Ariel Park and go south on

Erial Road to Williamstown Road. It will end at the Little League field on

Essex Avenue.

During the parade, Erial Road will be closed between Hickstown and Garwood

roads. Williamstown Road will be closed between Erial and Jarvis roads.

The Glendora Little League parade will start at 10 a.m. at the Glendora Fire

Station on 8th Avenue, It will go north on the Black Horse Pike/Route 168,

then east on Evesham Road, ending a the Little League field on Randy Road.

During this parade, the Black Horse Pike and Evesham Road will be closed. No

parking will be allowed on the Black Horse Pike between 8th Avenue and

Evesham Road, or on Evesham Road between the Black Horse Pike and Albert

Avenue.

Drivers should expect heavy pedestrian traffic in the areas of both parades

and are encouraged to follow marked detours to avoid delays.

Police officers will be stationed at road closure points to assist with

directions.
