Two FedEx employees in Magnolia charged in connection with theft of $188,000 in silver

MAGNOLIA

— Two FedEx employees have been charged in connection with the theft of more than $188,000 worth of silver coins and bars from the FedEx Ground Facility on Atlantic Avenue.

Julian C. Marshall of Blackwood and Jason M. Ramage of Bellmawr were arrested Tuesday after police here were notified of the theft.

Some of the silver was traced to a local pawn shop, which led to the identity of the two men, police said. Both men worked at the Atlantic Avenue facility, said police.

More than $95,000 in silver and some electronic products purchased with funds from pawned silver were found the home of one of the men, police said.

One suspect’s vehicle was seized by police.

Marshall was charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft. Ramage was charged with receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft.

Both have been lodged in the Camden County Jail to await a bail hearing.
