GLOUCESTER TWP. — A woman was hospitalized in critical condition after being ejected from an overturned vehicle here.
Police said the vehicle flipped after leaving the road on West Church Street near Blackwood Lake at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The woman, a passenger in the car, was stabilized by emergency medical services personnel and airlifted to Cooper Medical Center in Camden, said police.
The woman, whose name was not released by police, was listed as being in stable but critical condition. The driver was treated at the scene, police said.
The street was closed for about four hours during the investigation by the township’s Serious Crash Investigation Team.
