CAMDEN - A city man has been charged with a September murder here, Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk said Monday.
Charles Guest, 25, is charged with murder in connection with the death of Ashley Williams, 24, of Camden. Guest was arrested last week at a relative’s home in the 1300 block of Park Boulevard by the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Fugitive task force. He was ordered held on $1 million bail following at an arraignment Monday.
It is alleged Guest choked the victim in the early morning hours of Sept. 4. The medical examiner ruled the cause of death was blunt neck trauma.
