Three Camden men indicted on murder charges

CAMDEN — Three city men have been indicted by a Camden County grand jury on murder charge involving shootings in the city, Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk said Wednesday.

• Brandy Hicks, 28, was indicted in connection with the shooting death of Earl Clary, 29, of Camden. Clary was shot multiple times about 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 27, 2010, in a vacant lot at the intersection of Sheridan and Michael streets.

• Brandon Isler, 25, was indicted in connection with the shooting death of Jeremiah Johnson, 17, of Sicklerville. It is alleged Isler shot Johnson multiple times shortly before 8 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the intersections of Mount Ephraim and Morton streets.

• Benny Santiago, 30, was indicted in connection with the shooting of Charles Tokley, 35, of Camden. Santiago is accused of shooting Tokley on May 23, 2004, in Centennial Village in Camden.

Also indicted in connection with non-fatal gun crimes were:

• Keith Randells, 29, of Camden, indicted on two counts of attempted murder, six counts of aggravated assault, single counts of making terroristic threats, hindering apprehension or prosecution and tampering with witnesses and Informants, and weapons charges in connection with a June 12 incident in which he is accused of shooting one man and attempting to strangle a woman. Randells was assaulting the woman when the male victim attempted to intervene and was shot. Both victims survived the assaults.

• Aimere Nelson, 29, of Camden, indicted on four counts of aggravated assault and weapons charges in connection with a June 23 shooting incident that led to the injury of a man in Camden.
