Man, 20, shot and killed in Camden

A 20-year-old man was shot and killed in Camden on Saturday.

Joel Maldonado was gunned down at 6:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Grant Street, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday.

Maldonado, of Camden, died of his injuries at an area hospital about 45 minutes later.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

The fatal shooting is the second of the year in Camden, according to information released by the prosecutor’s office. A 59-year-old man was shot and killed on the 100 block of Rand Street on Wednesday.
