Controversial shot sends Roselle Catholic boys to South Jersey, Non-Public B final

It was arguably the biggest shot of the season in New Jersey basketball, but it raised some pretty big questions, too. The biggest one, though, is if the shot Barry Brown hit for Roselle Catholic to lead the Lions past Gill St. Bernard's in the South Jersey, Non-Public B semifinals, beat the buzzer. It was close, but officials counted the shot, which gave Roselle Catholic a 54-51 victory.

3 points? Buzzer beater?

A few issues arose from Brown's shot: Was it before the buzzer and was it a 3-pointer? Some shots from the game (like the one above) show he may not have gotten it off in time, while videos clearly show Brown's shot was inside the arc – but the refs gave him three points for it.
