Black bear spotted in Central Jersey, officials say

A black bear was spotted on Tuesday afternoon in Mercer County.

The bear was active in the area of Spring Garden Road in Robbinsville around 1 p.m., the Robbinsville Township Police Department said in a Facebook post.

Police have notified NJ Fish and Wildlife of the incident.

No additional information was immediately available.
