Downtown Trenton collision kills woman, injures 3 others, police say

A collision between two vehicles in downtown Trenton Saturday morning claimed the life of a 57-year-old woman, city police said Monday.

The 5:45 a.m. crash led to several people calling 911 for assistance, and officers arrived to find multiple people trapped in their wrecked vehicles. Trenton EMS and the Trenton Fire Department arranged for four people to be taken to a hospital in the city, police spokeswoman Lt. Lisette Rios said.

Pictures from the scene, published by Peterson’s Breaking News of Trenton, showed two badly damaged vehicles, one resting against a light pole at the intersection, at East State and South Broad streets.
