No injuries in 3-alarm fire at N.J. rowhouse after good Samaritan flags down police

A good Samaritan quickly located police as a fire was breaking out at a rowhouse last week.

The home, located on Woodland Street in Trenton, caught fire shortly before 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the Trenton Police Department said in a news release. The residence is part of a rowhouse and is attached to four other homes.

A man who noticed the fire told officers Andy Gomez and Sean Bell, who were at a nearby home for an unrelated incident. When the officers arrived at the scene, they noticed smoke coming from the rear of the house.
