If you have to go into the office, these 2 days are preferred most by N.J. and N.Y. commuters

Hybrid work schedules are the new normal...for now.

Commuters crowd the entrance to track 10 at NJ Transit's Seventh Avenue Penn Station concourse in New York on April 5, 2022. Surveys by business groups and NJ Transit said hybrid work schedules that have workers in offices three days a week is the new normal.

The middle of the week is prime commuting time in New Jersey and it reflects what the Partnership for New York City and New Jersey Chamber of Commerce called the new workplace normal of hybrid work schedules, dividing the work week between home and office.

And mid-week is the preferred time for employees to be in the workplace, as shown by the most recent NJ Transit customer survey data.
