The 2024 list of toll increases for New Jersey has two notable exceptions, at least for now.
A proposed 3% toll increase on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway remains on hold after Gov. Phil Murphy vetoed the Turnpike Authority’s board of commissioners minutes on Oct. 26, saying he needs more information on the reasons to make drivers pay more.
Last week, Turnpike Authority officials reiterated that they were working with the governor’s office. Murphy’s office did not respond to emails Friday about the status of the veto.
