LAKEWOOD -- A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car Thursday morning, police said.
Detective Lt. Gregory Staffordsmith said that police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian, but he did not give any additional information, including the time and location of the crash.
"The investigation is currently very active and I will release information as it becomes available," he said in an email to reporters at 1:40 p.m.
