Dax Shepard almost became one of “Iron” Mike Tyson’s knockout victims.
The actor, 42, revealed the daunting details during a “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” interview, when the host inquired about the meanest thing anyone ever told him.
Shepard said he was hanging out at an NBA All-Star Game once in the presence of Tyson, the now retired boxer, when he tried to have a little fun with him.
Apparently Shepard crossed the line.
“I had met Tyson the week before and he really liked me, and then I was way too familiar with him,” he said. “I was grabbing his shoulder and stuff, and then he didn’t remember me.”
Tyson reportedly told him, “If you don’t take your hand off my shoulder, I’m gonna break your f—ing head open.”
That’s when Shepard realized he better back off.
“I thought he was joking … then he escalated it and I took my hand off his shoulder.”
