President Trump kicked off Election Day with a call to his favorite Fox News show, while Joe Biden visited his son’s grave in Delaware.

Trump’s appearance on the early morning show “Fox & Friends” was a familiar rehash of attacks against Biden and grievances against mail-in voting.

Trump, his voice husky after a marathon run of rallies Monday, claimed that he would declare victory “only when there’s victory,” contradicting earlier reports that he might do so prematurely.

“There’s no reason to play games,” he said during a rambling appearance in which the show hosts repeatedly tried to wrap up the interview.

He predicted that he would win re-election by an even wider margin than last time and denounced his opponent as a bumbling and unworthy candidate.

Biden started his day on a more spiritual note.

Flanked by his wife, Jill, and their grandchildren, Biden attended morning mass at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, Del. After the service, the family walked to the grave of Biden’s son, Beau, who died of cancer in 2015.

The former vice president, who is deeply religious, often credits his late son’s spirit with inspiring him to run for president after skipping the race four years ago.

Biden, who has maintained a much lighter campaign schedule than Trump, planned to spend the rest of the day in battleground Pennsylvania.
