GREEN BAY, Wis. — When right tackle Bryan Bulaga returned to practice earlier this week, outside linebacker Nick Perry was the only player remaining on the physically unable to perform list for the Green Bay Packers.
Perry underwent offseason ankle surgery for a problem he said bothered him throughout 2017. He has remained secretive about the details of the procedure but is on the verge of returning to practice himself after several intense workouts with the training staff in recent days.

In today’s episode of the P:60 Packers Podcast, you’ll hear Perry discuss his rehab and what it’s been like to learn Mike Pettine’s defense without setting foot on an actual field. You’ll also hear Pettine describe his vision for Perry’s role within the system and why he approached the first exhibition game with a call sheet that was very vanilla.
