Arsenal midfielder Frida Maanum is in a stable condition after appearing to collapse during Sunday’s Continental Cup final against Chelsea.
The Norway international appeared to go down off the ball in second-half stoppage time at Molineux before medical staff entered the field of play to treat her.

Play was stopped for seven minutes while the 24-year-old was attended to before she left the field on a stretcher while receiving oxygen.
Arsenal confirmed a short time later that Maanum was “conscious, talking and in a stable condition”.
The club also confirmed that she would continue to be closely monitored by their medical team.

Maanum has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season, including seven in the Continental Cup.
She joined from Swedish side Linkoping in 2021 after spells with Lyn and Stabaek in her home country.
Arsenal went on to win the game in Maanum’s absence with a goal from Stina Blackstenius in extra-time.
“It’s always really hard. She’s a teammate and a friend to all of us. We care so much about her,” the Sweden international told BBC Sport.
“You worry a bit when stuff like this happens. We said we wanted to do this for her, to get this win for her because she couldn’t be with us at that point.”
Head coach Jonas Eidevall confirmed he had spoken to Maanum and that she would travel back with the team before any further updates would be given.
“I’ve been able to have a conversation with her but not from a medical perspective,” he said. “Just to check in with her on how she’s doing and telling her that we won.
“I’m understanding a little bit about what the next steps are now, so I don’t have any medical updates.”
Arsenal are next in action against Bristol City in the Women’s Super League following the international break.
