Jack Harrison is close to joining Everton on another season long loan from Leeds United.
The winger, 27, spent last season at Goodison Park, scoring three goals and assisting the same amount in 29 Premier League appearances.
Although a deal is not done, it is expected that a new loan will not include a loan fee and Everton will cover Harrison’s wages. The player was keen on a return to Merseyside this summer and is under contract with Leeds until 2028.

Harrison first joined Leeds in 2018 on loan from Manchester City, before moving to Elland Road permanently in 2021. He has made 190 league appearances for the club and was part of Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion-winning side in 2020.
After three Premier League seasons as a key player for Leeds, relegation at the end of the 2022-23 season opened the door for Everton to trigger a clause in his contract.
He joined Sean Dyche’s side on loan in August 2023 after missing the start of Leeds’ first season back in the Championship with a hip injury.
Harrison was one of a number of senior players to leave on loan last summer following relegation along with Brenden Aaronson, Maximilian Wober, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca and Diego Llorente.
Aaronson is set to feature for Leeds in the upcoming campaign after positive talks with manager Daniel Farke resulted in the U.S. international committing to staying at the club.
