Manchester United will broadcast the club’s Women’s Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain after all, having initially said in an incorrect club statement that UEFA rules prevented them from doing so.
On Tuesday, the club released details of their second-round first-leg fixture against PSG and stated: “MUTV cannot show the game live due to UEFA’s broadcast rights.” At the time of publication, the wording remains the same.
This caused confusion among fans on social media, who feared they would be denied the opportunity to watch their team’s first outing in Europe.
