Lamar Jackson thrilled a rain-soaked M&T Bank Stadium crowd with an MVP-case-bolstering, 13-play touchdown drive in the final minutes of regulation to save the Baltimore Ravens from defeat. Then in overtime, Baltimore punt returner Tylan Wallace pulled a walk-off 76-yard punt return touchdown for a 37-31 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
With just over a minute to play in the fourth quarter, Jackson hit Zay Flowers for a go-ahead touchdown before the Rams put together a field goal drive to force overtime. The Rams’ only overtime offensive drive stalled leading to Wallace’s touchdown return.
Jackson’s dominant day featured 316 passing yards, three touchdown passes and 70 rushing yards to outduel a vintage performance from Matthew Stafford, who finished with 294 yards and three touchdowns.

Tylan Wallace sat on the Baltimore Ravens’ bench as the delirium had finally dissipated around him. The first order of business was catching his breath. He had just sprinted 76 yards after breaking three tackles, regaining his balance and keeping his feet when it looked like he was going to the ground, then he front-flipped into the end zone to culminate a wet and wild day of football.
Next came the beating he took from his celebratory teammates and coaches who delivered hugs and head slaps, turning the back of the west end zone at M&T Bank Stadium into a mosh pit.
But Wallace wanted to make sure he took it all in, too, including getting one more look at the scoreboard. Ravens 37, Los Angeles Rams 31.

Never have I covered an NFL season in which this thought has rung in my head so frequently: Wow, there are a few ways to react to this.
That’s the fairest way to look at the Los Angeles Rams’ Week 14 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens, off a rare walk-off punt return touchdown in a downpour that featured multiple missed tackles and, yes, a missed block in the back penalty. Players, coaches and fans are all emotional after a loss like that, when the team went toe-to-toe with the NFL’s best, yet still committed enough self-inflicted mistakes to have everyone wondering “What if … ?” afterward.

The game-winning punt return touchdown in OT by the Ravens' Tylan Wallace was the second such return in the NFL this season (Jets’ Xavier Gipson in Week 1 vs. Bills).
Before 2023, there hadn’t been a game-winning punt return TD in the NFL since Week 9 of 2011 when the Cardinals’ Patrick Peterson had a 99-yard game-winner against the Rams.
Today’s win over the Rams was the Ravens’ first overtime win since Week 9 of 2021 against the Vikings. Baltimore had lost two straight OT games including Week 3 against the Colts earlier this season.
Unbelievable.
After going three-and-out, the Ravens force a punt on the Rams’ ensuing drive and Tylan Wallace returns the kick 76 yards for the game-winning touchdown.
The Rams force the quick three-and-out and will take over with a chance to win the game.
L.A. has already won an OT game this season (week 4 at Colts) and is 2-2 in overtime games under coach Sean McVay.

A quick recap of the NFL overtime rules during the regular season:
Rams QB Matthew Stafford is eyeing his 36th career regular-season fourth-quarter comeback.
Stafford is already the active leader and a win today would tie him with Drew Brees for fifth on the all-time list, per Stathead.
Zay Flowers gave his fantasy managers headaches throughout most of this game.
It looked like he was on pace for another scoring dud, but his touchdown catch and successful two-point conversion have given Flowers back-to-back 20-plus PPR point games for the first time this season.
The Ravens jump in front with a 21-yard TD pass from Lamar Jackson to rookie Zay Flowers, Jackson’s third TD pass of the game.
Flowers now has touchdowns in back-to-back games after scoring one touchdown in his first 11 games of the season.
The Rams' go-ahead drive here in the fourth quarter featured some mixed-direction run plays to start, then two very non-rookie-like catches by rookies Davis Allen and Puka Nacua (the latter an acrobatic effort on a heater from quarterback Matthew Stafford as Stafford was getting hit), a vintage Cooper Kupp catch-and-run and the touchdown catch by former Raven Demarcus Robinson.

The Rams take a 28-23 lead on the Ravens with a 5-yard TD pass from Matthew Stafford to Demarcus Robinson, Stafford’s third TD pass of the game.
It is Stafford’s third straight three-pass TD game after having no such games from Weeks 1-10.
The Ravens are clinging to a 23-22 lead over the Rams in the fourth quarter.
The good news? Baltimore has nine wins after leading in the fourth quarter this season, tied for second most in the NFL.
The bad news? The Ravens have three losses after leading in the fourth quarter this season, tied for second most in the NFL.
Zay Flowers has been one of the most frustrating start-sit candidates in fantasy football this year and today has been no different.
Flowers scored a season high 23.2 PPR points in the Ravens last game, but he is currently sitting at 4.1 PPR points, a total that currently rates as his second lowest of the season.
The Rams are the first team so far this season to lead the Ravens at the end of three quarters, per team play-by-play analyst J.B. Long.
Ravens have adjusted to Rams run/pass, especially run/screen. Four tackles for loss on last two drives on run plays or short pass plays.

Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton ruled out for the rest of the game.
The safety on the snap miscue by the Ravens is the second-straight game the Rams have scored a safety. That is a rare but not unheard of achievement.
Los Angeles joins the Jets as the only team to do that this season (New York did it in Weeks 4-5).
The Rams take a 22-20 lead after the snap flies by Lamar Jackson and he’s forced to kick it through the end zone.
It’s the second-straight game L.A. has recorded a safety. Before that, the Rams hadn’t recorded a safety since Week 17 of 2020.
