Arkansas Election Results

President Trump has again won the state of Arkansas, which he won by a wide margin in 2016. The state has been lurching to the right since President Bill Clinton’s re-election in 1996. Read more

Senator Tom Cotton, a Republican, won his re-election, unopposed. Positioning himself for a possible bid for the presidency in 2024, he has hit the campaign trail this year for other Republican incumbents as the party seeks to retain its majority in the Senate.

Representative French Hill, a Republican, won in a tight race against State Senator Joyce Elliott in the state's Second Congressional District. Ms. Elliott unsuccessfully ran for the seat in 2010. The district, which includes Little Rock, hasn’t had a Democrat come this close to winning there in years. — ISABELLA GRULLÓN PAZ Read less
