Joseph R. Biden Jr. has won Nevada, after holding a steady, though narrow, lead over President Trump in one of the most contested states in the presidential race. Read more

Because Nevada went to Hillary Clinton in 2016 by a small margin, Mr. Trump hoped to flip the battleground state, but Mr. Biden’s polling showed that the diverse electorate there had the potential to maintain Nevada’s faint shade of blue. Latino voters in particular had been targeted by the Democrats to help secure a win.
