This is a very nice, warm down blanket.I spread it out on the floor immediately after unpacking it from the included stuff sack.In around 5 minutes it had lofted up to about double the thickness.It is sewn through construction as opposed to having baffles so I wouldn't expect it to be effective much below 50 degrees or so when used as a backpacking quilt, but for the warmer summer months or as a supplement to another lightweight quilt, it'll be great!Very lightweight at just over a pound.Quality construction and materials.A great addition to my summer kit.

We love our Rumpl! I bought it for winter backpacking trips for its warmth and compressibility, but like it so much we use it everyday. It’s great for lounging on the sofa or sitting at the computer.

Love my down Rumpl! I travel frequently for work and love the versatility of this throw in almost any setting—its great as a lumbar pillow in its stuffsack on any chair, and it’s handy for drafty rooms or outdoor events. I keep it in the car and always feel prepared for fun or emergencies! The rainbow pattern is cheery, and who doesn’t love the comfy cozy feel of down? Highly recommend!

Usually I don't consider the price much in an object I review: It's up to the buyer to decide if a product is worth the price -- but here, we really need to consider this totally insane pricing. They could cut the price 80-90%, and maybe this would make some sense. It's a cheap, flimsy quilted down blanket, with frayed seams, and feathers hanging out, which is not particularly warm. This is more like a throw than a quilt. To say it's waterproof is just misleading: Maybe a little drizzle will stay out, but it will wick in moisture and just get wet.

The only good thing is that it's actually small -- i.e. not very warm -- but you can pack it.

I wanted a nice little blanket that I could carry in my car that would stay compact and yet be ready for us whenever somebody complained about being too chilly, which would be either my four-year-old daughter or my six-year-old son. This little down throw is big enough for both of them, or one adult to use, and though it has that silky and slightly cool feeling upon initially touching it like most sleeping bags of this fabric do, it warms up shockingly fast and has a really high-end feel to it. Every time I've used it, I've warmed up in about 30 seconds and been surprised at how effective it is.

Upon receiving it, I immediately threw it in the wash just because I wash everything knew that comes in. I used a down specific wash and dried it in the dryer with some little down specific dryer balls that have spikes and fluff the feathers. It came through without any issue and looks just like it did upon receipt.

Overall I was so impressed with this that I also picked up their pillow, which is basically a cool stuff sack that you can put a sweater or some other manner of laundry in to make your own travel pillow.

We love our Rumpl. It's lightweight, easy to carry and very warm. According to the Rumpl website, the duck down is sustainably sourced as a byproduct of the food industry and has been treated with TEXCOTE DWR, which is supposed to help with odor reduction and improved heat retention . It has no odor that I can detect, and I am sometimes very sensitive to down. The fabric absolutely does not collect dog hair, which is a big plus for us with our VERY shedderiffic Corgi. We've used it around the firepit, on the deck and on the couch. Five stars.
