First of all, I think a lot of the reviews are due to user error. This pillow is supposed to expand for 24-48 hours before use. I waited the full 48 hours and it was great. When I checked on it at the 24 hour mark, it was definitely firmer than the 48 hour mark. I know it’s hard not to use the pillow you’ve just bought because it’s exciting! But really, it’s for the best to follow the instructions and let it expand for the full amount of time.

Secondly, I see a lot of complaints that it’s “not cooling”. News flash! No pillow can stay cold *all the time*! That technology does not exist and is currently impossible! It has holes for ventilation, your body gives off heat that transfers to the pillow.

Thirdly, the pillow does vary in firmness based on temperature. If it’s warm it’s gonna be a bit softer, if it’s cold it’s gonna be a bit firmer.

The reviews are very mixed with people saying “my head sinks down all the way, there’s nothing to it!” and “It’s so firm like a brick! My head doesn’t sink at all!” this confused the crap out of me before buying. I think all of the above factors are the reason for variation in the reviews.

I’ll try to give my most unbiased perspective on it. It is firm, I would not call it a brick though. My head sinks about halfway into it. It provides support, but isn’t stiff. It’s not super soft, it does take a minute to sink into. It holds your head in place. I am a side and stomach sleeper and I find it comfortable. I cannot speak for back sleepers. It is very lightweight, but thick, wide, and takes up a decent amount of space. The cover is soft, but you should still put a pillowcase over it. If you don’t like a pillow on the firmer side, you probably won’t like this pillow. If you’re looking for something super soft and squishy, this pillow is not for you. If you are looking for a firm memory foam pillow that keeps you in place, has good neck support, and keeps it’s shape. This pillow is for you.

Overall, I like it! I’ve been sleeping on it for a couple weeks and I think it has helped my neck a bit. I’ve been sleeping very soundly and I have no issues. It’s a great price for the quality if it’s what you’re looking for, go for it!

I am the ultimate "princess and the pea", few beds, pillows, comforters, mattresses,etc ever suit me. Bed has to be perfect. Needless to say, I go through pillows like some people go through cartons of ice cream, i.e., they don't last too long with me. I have a mountain of discarded pillows on my guest bed. Not firm enough, too squishy, too firm,( rarely), head sink in too far.( you get the idea). I have ordered so many just ftom amazon in the last year that I have lost count. This pillow, however, has so far made the cut. I like a firm pillow, my most favorite was a biosense, which has since gone out of business ( not my fault, I ordered bunches of them over time). This pillow actually is firm, with some give. Does not squish down. Holds your head up off the mattress. My neck does not get quite as stiff while sleeping as it had in the past. Good to prop up with other pillows for watching TV. I have used for a few weeks, likely to continue. Next best thing to biosense. At this point, I would recommend it if you like a substantial, firm pillow with just enough softness for comfort. Good luck!!

This pillow came vacuum sealed and I waited the full 48 hours for it to decompress before using it. This pillow is very comfortable! It takes a couple seconds for your head to sink in, and it sinks in maybe 45% of the way down. I’m not sure why people are saying it’s too firm or too soft—to me it’s just right. It’s only firm for a few seconds before your head sinks in, and the pillow adjusts to the weight of your head.

This pillow aided a lot with my neck pain too! I used to have a lot of tension on the right side of my neck and I’d have to crack it to get some relief very often. But after using this pillow for just 1-2 days I feel a very big difference. It offers lots of neck support and I feel like my neck pain is 75% gone. My neck is not totally fixed, but the pillow helped loads.

The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cooling is a bit disappointing. The pillow does not stay cool or offering lots of cooling. To me, it just feels like the pillow doesn’t overheat—but just stays the same temperature as your head. I’ve used a pillow in the past from a different brand that belonged to someone else, so I know what it feels like to have a pillow with good cooling. This pillow does not have that, unfortunately.

This is a fantastic pillow. You do need a longer pillowcase; fully expanded mine is 30" long, which means that the end pokes out of a normal queen pillowcase. Its not a bug, its a feature, it feels luxurious to have a giant pillow. As others have mentioned, this pillow somehow is both very comfy yet highly supportive at the same time. I'm buying another one.

First night with it as a side-sleeper, I woke up several times in discomfort.

I believed a glowing review about this being perfect for side-sleepers, but I think that is just their experience, not to be applied to everyone!

I had to switch back to my shredded foam pillow. The difference between the two is you cannot form this molded foam pillow to your neck; it left a gap that creates strain for me. If you go this route, get the curved type.

I'll always buy shredded foam from now on. It works for me. I'm 5'7", 150pds.

Seems ok and let sit for 48hrs before first use.
I sleep on my side, back and belly and it was very comfy. Head sinks down in a minute or so and settles down nicely. I would recommend it and yes it starts out cool but doesn’t stay cold, no pillow stays cold. I’ve looked forever. I do recommend it and the price was good. We purchased 2 as it was cheaper than buying a set of 2???

Es una gran almohada. Estoy cambiando de colchón y almohadas tradiciones a memory foam y esta es mi primera experiencia. La almohada llegó antes que el colchón y lo dejé reposar 24 horas como indica el instructivo, aunque noté que estuvo listo después de 5 horas dejándolo reposar, respeté el instructivo. Al día siguiente lo usé un momento y me quedé dormido sin darme cuenta. En la noche lo utilicé y también caí dormido sin darme cuenta y, lo mejor de todo, sin dolor de cuello.

No encuentro ningún defecto de fábrica, ni gusanos, ni bichos como dicen otros comentarios, ni tampoco malos olores, sólo el olor a "nuevo" que se quitó al día siguiente, pero no lo notas al menos que de verdad inhales muy profundo. Es una gran almohada y en promoción es una gran inversión. Como es mi primera almohada memory foam y mi primera experiencia con ellos, no puedo comparar con otras marcas: pero sí puedo decir que es la mejor almohada que he comprado y estoy casi seguro de que también lo disfrutarás.

Lo único que podría decir es que tardó 2 días en llegar, pero en realidad vale la pena la espera de esos 2 días más las 24 horas de dejarlo reposar para usarlo; aunque, si tienes alguna emergencia, es mejor que optes por otra compra.
