The fan works very well, totally silent and attractive. The remote while a little small is intuitive. The light could stand to be a little brighter. As for installation I hired an electrician to install. They had a few minor issues which would not have incurred if they had read the instructions. Changing the direction of the blades can be done easily via the remote which is a nice feature esp since the fan hangs from a 12 ft ceiling. I have only had fan a few days so can’t comment on dependability. Bottom line, I am very happy with the fan.

Had an old Hunter Douglas and it always hummed. I'm a woman over 60, so you know we are professional critics when it comes to getting cool. Super quiet and just because it only has 3 blades, it works beautifully. My husband commented on a piece of equipment they included for installation so that you can attach and be hands free-while installing. Don't know how else to explain it but he's an engineer and he thought this was so helpful.
Solid ass fan that comes with remote and can work from your existing switch on the wall. They also give you a holder for the remote to put near your light switch, so the dog doesn't get a hold of it.

I did some internet sleuthing and found that the DC motor is quieter. And it definitely is--even at the hightest speed. I specifically wanted a low profile/flush mount fan. The fan that I had initially installed was low profile, but it was monstrously bulky and looked like a boulder was falling from the ceiling. This fan has approximately the same height, but it's slim, sleek body doesn't make it feel like my ceiling is caving in. It's not a major issue, but having a digital read of the speed levels would be great so that there is no guessing or going through them all to change it back after someone else has changed it to their preference. I am giving a four star rating because the light SO dim--even when putting it to the hightest/brightest light position possible. So a brighter light would really be a plus. It would be perfect if it came with a temperature choice light (i.e.: 2700-3000-3500-4000-5000) so that it actually lights for the room.

Seems well-built. Installation instructions could be written better (but that’s true for all ceiling fans). No surprises during installation, once you figure out what needs to be done.
Fan works fine. 6 speeds in each direction. Very quiet.
Icons printed on remote control are kinda hard to visibly distinguish. I guess I’ll learn them over time.
Only problem was LED light module didn’t work. I called Customer Service. New part arrived 2 days later. Light works now. Kudos for very responsive customer service.
Hoping it’ll last longer than me.

Just stopped working. Hanging under a porch and the fan was damp rated. Never was hit by rain. Plenty of humidity though. Not near an ocean. So no saltwater issues. First one we hung never worked at all. Company sent another one. And now it is gone. Also, on high, it does not push much air. I don’t recommend this fan

Do not buy this fan! Constantly turns off for absolutely no reason whatsoever? The light is extremely dim even at its highest setting. I’ve honestly purchased cheap pull string fans that work better than this.

I had it installed. It worked fine for about 3 days. Then it kept turning itself off. Over and over. I contacted Amazon. The lady reassured me she would stay in contact until it's resolved. Then talked to a guy from the company. He reassures me the same. I contacted them again and same thing. That been 3 weeks today. Not only do I have a FSN that doesn't work, I have put $250.00 dollars into it. The fan cost $100.00. I paid $150.00 to have it installed. Then another $100.00 for the installer to come back and check if he installed right, as I was told it might have been installed wrong. I have put $350.00 into this beautiful fan hanging, but doesn't work. So I'm a little upset. The initial contact I made was 3 weeks ago and nothing....Other than that the fan is really beautiful 😍So it's been weeks and weeks and no one has contacted me over this broke fan. It's still beautiful but doesn't work. Too late to get a refund. I need a replacement. It's only right. Read my above review. Please deal with this it's been 2 months....
