Very rough sea easing. Long period southwest swell 4 metres, but 5 metres easing south of Abut Head. Northerly swell rising to 2 metres for a time. Poor visibility in morning rain, easing to a few showers in the afternoon. Thunderstorms with hail possible, clearing midday.
