Solo artist and former frontman for The Smiths, Morrissey is slated to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his album, “You Are the Quarry,” at Honda Center in Anaheim on Friday, Jan. 26 and at Kia Forum in Inglewood on Saturday, Jan. 27.

These promise to be special – the only album shows happening worldwide.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8 at Ticketmaster.com.

“You Are the Quarry” was released on May 17, 2004, and is Morrissey’s seventh solo album. The four singles from the album, “Irish Blood, English Heart,” “First of the Gang to Die,” “Let Me Kiss You” and “I Have Forgiven Jesus,” all hit the Top 10 on the UK singles chart and the album reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200, making it the artist’s highest-charting album in the U.S.

The last time Morrissey was in town in 2022 he abruptly ended his concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles after performing for 30 minutes. He left the stage without an explanation, leaving it to a bandmate to finally inform the crowd that the unpredictable frontman had left the building.
