3-Star Edge Rusher Canaan Edwards Commits to Rutgers

The Scarlet Knights continue to recruit at a high level.

Rutgers Football continues their recruiting streak in the south.

On Tuesday, Rutgers landed another commit for the defense in the form of three-star edge rusher Canaan Edwards out of Fairburn, Georgia.

Canaan is currently rated as the 70th best edge rush in his class and the 106th best player in Georgia. He currently stands at 6 foot 5, 230 pounds, so their is a strong chance he will be asked to change positions based on his size.

The addition of Canaan gives the Knights 27 commits, which is more than any other school in the nation. The 2025 class for Rutgers currently stands at No.10 nationally.
