247sports forecasts Rutgers to the Guaranteed Rate Bowl

More predictions for the 2024 season have dropped, this time from 247sports. They have Rutgers going to the Guaranteed rate bowl to play Texas Tech. Here is what Writer Ben Crawford had to say about the prediction.

“Two teams with in-house expectations higher than the offseason love they’re receiving nationally, the Scarlet Knights and Red Raiders feel good about their dark-horse chances as upper-tier finishers in their respective conferences this fall. Hovering around eight wins has been the norm for Joey McGuire at Texas Tech while Greg Schiano is coming off his first winning season at Rutgers since returning to the program in 2020.”

If this prediction were to be true it would mean the first matchup between Rutgers and Texas Tech ever. It would also mean that Rutgers goes to a bowl game for their second straight season.

It also sounds like he is predicting Rutgers to get eight wins in 2024.

The Guaranteed rate bowl will be played at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona on December 26.
