DAYTONA BEACH — May Smith scored three goals and Crystal Bartholomew two to power second-seeded Umatilla to an 8-2 victory against third-seeded Tavares in Wednesday’s Class A, District 4 girls semifinal. Erin Mullen, Ysela Perez and Amber Monteith also scored for the Bulldogs (18-3-1). Umatilla will face top-seeded Father Lopez, Mount Dora or Trinity Christian in the final at 7 Friday night at Father Lopez.
