Job description: Manage the staff, collections and budget for the library.

The best thing about my job: The people I work with.

The worst thing about my job: Computers that don’t work!

The most unusual job I ever had: Dog walker.

When I’m not working: I play chauffeur to the 11-year-old!

The kind of music I like best: Steely Dan, Billy Joel, Aaron Neville and, especially, Jimmy Buffett.

My favorite meal: Pizza (remember the 11-year-old).

The best trip I ever took: Cumberland Island, Ga.

The one thing I used to do when I was younger that I don’t do anymore: Sleep late.

My motto: If you pray for rain, be prepared to deal with some mud.

My pet peeve: Murphy’s Law.

The thing I like best about the southwest area: The sunshine.

My favorite place in the southwest area: Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales.

This area needs more: Libraries and the money to support them.
