Mr. Bianchi, I just read your article on the Mike Miller trade, and I was wondering why you think that Orlando got the better end of the deal?
I live in Memphis and attend all the Grizzlies’ games, and Drew Gooden is a horrible basketball player. He has done nothing at all to help the Grizzlies win games. Y’all would have been better off taking Stromile Swift because Gooden has many negatives.
Giving up a rookie of the year (Mike Miller) who is going to average 20 points a game is almost idiotic. Granted, Gordan Giricek is an average player, but his shot has almost no rotation on it. He is throwing up a knuckler at the basket.
Gooden is not going to be near the player that you have made him out to be. Just because he was good is college doesn’t mean that he will be good on this level. Just take a look at Robert Traylor’s career.
