BRAZZAVILLE, Republic of Congo — An Ebola outbreak in central Republic of Congo has now killed 79 people, health investigators said Wednesday, but new infections are tapering off and terrified villagers are approaching medical workers for treatment. While the hemorrhagic disease has now infected 96 in the Cuvette West region, only eight new infections were registered last week, World Health Organization spokesman Iain Simpson said in Geneva.
