FRESHWATER: Fish the Butler Chain for largemouth bass, shellcrackers, bluegills and catfish. Bass are holding in deeper waters hitting shiners, minnows, spinner baits and Carolina-rigged plastic worms. Shellcrackers and bluegills are bunched up in shallow waters near lily pads. Catfish are also in deep waters feeding on minnows or night crawlers.
SALTWATER: Snook fishing has been solid at the Sebastian Inlet. Work the outgoing tides and free line live jumbo shrimp. Pinfish and fingerling mullet will also trigger strikes. Over-the-slot sized redfish and flounder can also be caught.
