Students work with Peace Prize winners

Fourteen students from Trinity Preparatory School and three from Lake Howell High School apprenticed with 10 Nobel Peace Prize laureates in September in Denver. Among those participating were the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

The conference gathered 3,000 young people from around the world for the 10th Anniversary PeaceJam.

Students mixed with youth from Burma, Tibet, England, Costa Rica, Argentina and other countries.

The purpose of the event is to encourage youths by allowing them to apprentice with Nobel Peace Prize winners.

The laureates have issued a Global Call to Action to encourage young people to act on their concerns for peace and justice.
