A commission to study the Iraq mess is another big waste of time and money. It is obvious that our presence in the region has not brought peace and democracy, nor has it secured our government’s lust for that country’s oil. Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld need to admit their failure with this ridiculous war and bring all U.S. forces home immediately.
If our occupation of Iraq is causing death and misery, how could it be much worse if we’re not there?
