As the grand opening of Legoland Florida rapidly approaches, the theme park in Winter Haven readies for the crowds, putting the finishing touches on the multicolored, Lego block-themed attractions. The park held a soft opening this past weekend for employees and contractors, and is slated to officially open to the public October 15 after a year-long reinvention of the former Cypress Gardens property near Lakeland.
