I’m ticked off at people who don’t stop at stop signs and do stop where there isn’t a stop sign.

I drive a school bus and it really ticks me off when motorists drive right through my activated stop arms at a bus stop.

Twenty loud golfers were drinking and making so much noise that my friends and I could not enjoy our dinner at our favorite restaurant in College Park.

I bought an expensive, kink-proof and leak-proof garden hose, and it turned out to both kink and leak.

To the person who wrote that he’d like women to wear dresses: we would like to wear dresses, too. But there is no market for dresses for ladies over 55 years old.

Hey, evolution nincompoop! What do you think a theory is? Just that – a “theory.” You don’t have to believe in someone else’s idea about something that is totally unfounded. Duh!

I’m ticked off at these people who bring theirdogs when they’re doing yard work or home repairs. I don’t need your dogs digging up my flowers.

To the person ticked off because she left her husband and is lonely: you have to be willing to share at least 50 percent of your life with someone if you don’t want to be lonely.

The flip side

There are two crossing guards in St. Cloud who are an honor to their job. The young woman on the corner always has a smile and is dedicated to the safety of those crossing the street. The other is an older woman who waves, smiles and wishes everyone to have a happy day.

Our sincere thanks to the gentleman who secretly paid for breakfast for six female senior citizens at a Winter Park restaurant on Sept. 24. What a lovely surprise!
