Had a good chuckle yesterday when I saw the “Click it or ticket” sign on I-4. So the police who cannot/will not catch speeders are going to pull me over for a seat belt? Please.
A $500 medical bill is nothing. I went to the ER, broken foot. This is exactly what they did…I walked in, they took my temp, stuck me in a room for less than an hour, took two-X-rays, say its broken. Put a wrap and boot on my foot. Send me home. Bill arrives. $678 for respiratory therapy. What!? $488 for X-rays, $1,500 for ER visit. Two hours, two X-rays, one temp check, one wrap and boot equals $2,700! In no way can this be justified!
Not all dogs bark at people walking by. It may be a common behavior for some dogs but certainly not all dogs. Some dogs have been trained well or they are controlled by their pet owners when other people walk by. True many dogs bark at other dogs. The point is that a dog that lunges and barks aggressively when someone walks by, whether behind a fence or on a leash, is demonstrating aggressive behavior, like it or not. And like it or not old people and children may be frightened by this aggressive behavior. It is common courtesy to control a barking and lunging dog—like it or not. Your dog does not have a right to terrify people.
I am ticked off at the lawyer who bought a beautiful home and one not so beautiful at the corner of Via Tuscany and Alabama in Winter Park. He proceeded to tear down and clear the lot of the not so beautiful home on the corner. This opened up a wonderful view of Lake Maitland for those of us that regularly drive by. We enjoyed this new vista. Then he lined the cleared lot with tall shrubs and large trees, blocking any view of the lake. This is not appreciated!
