Cincinnati Reds Ace Hunter Greene Pukes After Seventh Pitch Against Pirates

You don't see this scene in baseball often, outside of your uncle's adult rec league games. Cincinnati Reds ace Hunter Greene, pitching against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday, puked after delivering a pitch on the mound in a bizarre scene made for an "Eastbound & Down" episode.

After throwing his seventh pitch of the game, facing Bryan Reynolds with no outs in the first, Hunter Greene abruptly threw up, prompting a surprised look from Reynolds.

Greene shook off the gross moment, also tallied as a ball, before the thousands of home fans in Cincy.

WATCH:

Greene joins the pantheon of puking athletes who've relieved themselves during action, joining iconic names like NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb and Tennessee Vols left tackle Jeremiah Crawford, who turned his puking into an intimidation tactic.

Greene's accident wasn't the nastiest sight of the day for Reds fans.

Things got uglier for Cincinnati and Greene after giving up six runs through three innings on Tuesday.

Cincinnati and Pittsburgh are in a tight NL Central race, tied at 37-41 and 8.5 games behind the lead.
