Lakers Legend James Worthy Pokes Fun At Bronny James Hype
Los Angeles Lakers legend James Worthy continues to be critical of his former team's plans for the future.
Worthy made headlines this week for his hot-mic comments, in which he poked fun at the front office's dysfunction, also throwing an elbow at their rumored interest in Bronny James, LeBron James' son.
The comments, shared by LakersDaily, came from a recent interview with Worthy on the Lakers' state.
For years, Worthy has been stuck in basketball hell as he watches the Lakers' oblivious management sabotage the franchise. The Lakers' play since their 2020 championship has failed to match the talent on their roster.

Worthy threw some jabs at the Lakers' front office, which is frequently swayed by LeBron's wishlist.
"They did it right," Worthy joked.
Going all in on LeBron James and secondary star Anthony Davis, the Lakers have made critical moves in knee-jerk situations to appease the star duo.
"They took their time. They waited, while we were trading (Brandon) Ingram, (Julius) Randle, (Kentavious Caldwell) Pope gone, brotha up in Sacramento (Malik) Monk gone...And then we weren't getting anything for it, (Russell) Westbrook gone.
"The ink will lead back to the problem," Worthy added.
The Bronny James conversation has haunted the franchise all year. Now that the Lakers are making moves to convince LeBron James to stay, LA is putting Bronny high on its draft board.

James averaged less than five points per game at USC after one season and measures smaller (6-foot-1) than the average NBA scoring guard.
Worthy's clearly not a fan of the Bronny buzz.
"Well, he's the greatest young player ever right now, Bronny, that's what I'm going to say," Worthy said in a sarcastic voice.
From gutting the roster to eyeing Bronny James in the upcoming draft, the Lakers' front office — led by Rob Pelinka — has been on a streak of laughable moves.
This week, the Lakers introduced J.J. Redick as their next head coach, prompting plenty of fans to question the decision over the podcaster's lack of coaching experience.
Southland legends like Big Game James are rightly concerned that the Lakers may be far from their days of prestige under Dr. Jerry Buss and Jerry West.
