Are you ready to play some of the year's top titles? September arrives with many high-profile games in tow as publishers gear up for their big holiday push.

After debuting on PlayStation 5 last year, the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy XVI arrives on PC later this month with real-time combat and dark political themes. If you prefer third-person shooters to RPGs, keep an eye on Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Hop into Zelda's shoes and venture out to save Link and Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for something more lighthearted.

That said, don't sleep on last month's games. Black Myth: Wukong continues to wow with its polished visual presentation, excellent action, and outstanding magic system. For a nostalgia-packed adventure, Visions of Mana offers a robust RPG that harkens back to classic, Super Nintendo-era role-playing games.

Read on to see what else September has in store. Check out other options in our best PC games roundup, and peruse our 2024 video game calendar to see the other titles coming later this year.
