Jeffrey Parkin (he/him) has been writing video game guides for Polygon for almost seven years, and feels really old after looking that up. Because of writing guides, he has learned to love just about every genre of game that exists. Sometimes he writes other things about mistakenly killing animals in Wild Hearts or about the undeniable himbo-ness of Link in The Legend of Zelda.
He has two cats and an anthropology degree, all three of which are about equally useful.
