Michaels Dropped New Pastel Halloween Decor, and Everything Is Under $30

Between fuzzy ghost blankets and cosy pillows, this Halloween is shaping up to be scary cute. Ahead of the beloved holiday, Michaels released a new Sweet & Spooky Halloween decor collection packed with pastel Halloween decorations almost adorable enough to leave up all year long. We're talking tabletop decor inspired by witches and skeletons, plates embossed with spiderwebs, sparkling wine glasses, and living room accessories in whimsical shades of lavender and blush.
Following the Barbie effect, which has everyone obsessed with the colour pink, I couldn't help but be intrigued by the soft take on an otherwise spooky holiday. Curious, I stepped into my local Michaels and was greeted by walls of accessories in lilac, bubblegum, and cornflower blue. Resisting the urge to throw everything in my basket immediately, I examined the collection closer. In addition to the enchanting colour palette and lettering, the Halloween decor featured subtle hints of spookiness. From a spider carefully placed on a pink cookie jar to bats and moons painted on simple products, every item had me ready to redecorate my apartment.
While Halloween is still months away, eager fans have already gotten their hands on the Sweet & Spooky line. "I'll take the whole section," one shopper commented on TikTok. Another TikTok user added, "FINALLY something other than black and orange but still spooky." Because the pastel colours work so well in spring, some shoppers even plan to reuse the Halloween decor during Easter and the following months.
