The Senior Research Associate (SRA) will be primarily responsible for project management of APA’s various research projects (federal or non-federal) studies (80% effort). In addition, the incumbent will provide effort to other Division of Research tasks such as project management assistant on DSM-5 related task aimed at the maintenance and revisions of DSM-5, harmonization with ICD, and the writing of pertinent DSM-related manuscripts and chapter revisions as well as grant proposals and associated deliverables (20% effort).

The Program Director-School and Justice Initiatives directs all program activities for school and justice public education programs, including Notice. Talk. Act. at School Mental Health Professional Development Program, Judges and Psychiatrists Leadership Initiative, and the Stepping Up Initiative. Develops program objectives, secures and manages grants and contracts in support of the programs, and develops partnerships to expand program delivery. The Program Director works with the Development Officer in the industry liaison function to obtain funding and supports the communications role for the programs listed above in collaboration with APA Office of Communications.
