I am passionate about working with clients who are wanting to find that different path in life. As a family therapist, I have worked with families to focus on parenting, family dynamics, finding different ways or building relationships with each other. I enjoy working with couples who are wanting to explore the potentials of their relationship and to work out where their next steps are. As an ACA Clinical Supervisor, I run individual and group supervision for counsellors - to find a safe space to have a growth mindset to continually learn how to build up their therapeutic skills.

The therapeutic relationship is centred on safety and authenticity.
Emma is a qualified and registered psychotherapist and sexologist who is dedicated to providing destigmatising therapy that can be playful, cathartic, affirming, and enlightening all at once. She frequently sees clients in her office who are stuck in patterns of overthinking, emotional avoidance, and engaged with numbing tactics to cope. They seek a radiant and authentic version of themselves that they like, that connects with others, and feels inherently worthy of joy. They value themselves enough to hope for more. Emma is currently accepting psychotherapy and sex therapy referrals.

Bayside Mediation specialises in helping those couples who are thinking of separating or who have already separated but not yet engaged with the Family Law process, understand the process and potential outcomes ahead of them. Our clients are seeking guidance and clarity; help to navigate and understand the Family Law process. Our clients are looking for a better way to separate, a better way than litigation to end a long term relationship. They can be in conflict or have issues in dispute. But ultimately, they don't want to waste thousands of dollars and years of their lives in litigation; they want another legal option, us.

It is my hope that when someone spends time in the therapy room with me that our relationship feels honest, authentic and safe. During a therapy session you’ll encounter a mix and variety of therapeutic approaches including couples and family therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and emotion-focused therapy, to name a few. I have a special interest in relationships, life transitions, grief and parenting. I genuinely love my work and I’ve always, for as long as I can remember, been interested in people’s stories and how they think, feel, behave and relate.

I take a compassionate and practical approach to my counselling, with a focus on helping you improve the relationship you have with yourself, and identify healthier ways of coping, so you can live a more fulfilled and peaceful life.
I help people with anxiety and relationship issues. If you are suffering with social anxiety, worry, intrusive thoughts, panic, and/or perfectionism, I will work with you to understand the root cause of your anxiety and learn strategies to manage the difficult physical and emotional symptoms that come with anxiety. If you are having relationship issues, at home, work or with friends, I will work with you to identify the dynamics in relationships and look at what you can do to improve relationships, set boundaries, or re assess the relationships if necessary (please note I do not see couples).

Moving towards a relationship, being in a relationship and leaving a relationship is challenging. This beautiful dance towards connection, belonging and intimacy often leaves individuals and couples feeling; anxious, fearful, frustrated, angry, disconnected, numb, overwhelmed, disorientated, stressed, depleted, and lost. If any of this is landing, let me just say firstly, you’re not alone. Secondly, there is a way to find the understanding, empathy, collaborative and creative space you desire to master your relationships. Therapy is a space for brave souls, who are concerned and conflicted.

” He believes every relationship is unique, and the manner he brings to his sessions is both soothing and energising.
Rocco is an experienced psychologist with training working with adults, adolescents & children. He is sensitive to the issues young people face today, and how these issues uniquely present within heterosexual and LGBTQIA+ communities. Issues of identity, belonging, low self-worth, people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, periods of depression; essentially, complex histories and how they impact the relationship to oneself and others. These problems can be the underlying cause of a lack of felt purpose or meaning in one’s life. Rocco’s goal is to help people befriend themselves & reconnect with that sense of purpose

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
